Description I've been watching alot of Star Wars at work recently which was making me want to draw Star Wars stuff. While watching the Hoth battle scene I decided it'd be cool to design the next version of the AT-AT Walker. The AT-AT stands for All Terrain Armored Transport. I thought by adding an extra set of legs and some more cannons I could make it appear like a walking battle station which is where the AT-BT came from (All Terrain Battle Transport) I was trying to include some of the elements from the six legged walker in Episode 2 as well as the T shaped visor worn by the clone troopers in the prequel movies.

It was a fun little project and I think I came up with something that looks like it could comfortably fit in the Star Wars universe.

Still love this design, though the sides of it could be a weakpoint. I see either adding some turrents on side or perhaps have additionl ground troups support it. This still much better walker design than original and newer ones and looks like it would walk faster too. Hope to see you make a few other walker designs in future.

Much better design than the at-at, would love you do more variants of he walkers. From way you did this walker doesn't seem as tall as the original walker which I'm guessing it means this ones walks faster? Like you have a turrent on its rear to protect it. I'm guessing the sides are also heavily renforced so doesn't have worry about taking income fire from enemy heavy weapons?

I would have made the top heavy laser cannons a turret, like in the aft (but more like a battleship turret). Since it's fixed, it's probably only good for immobile or slow-moving targets.

A really cool looking design you have here wonder how it would do against an at-ht?

I can imagine it having more articulated legs allowing it to turn in place without forward or backward movement and walk sideways. (Please erase/ignore the previous comment that i left.)

Did you have another site that showed your top 25? Link no longer works and eager see what fanart fans have drawn that seem better than original.
