Thank you.
Instead of wishing you can make it happen, practice hard. That's how I made to where I am today.

Why is it that when I look at Garnet, I think of Sans of Undertale for some reason. She's a Gem, and he's a skeleton.

I think my favorite part of Garnet is her hair. A good combo of Ruby's and Sapphire's.

Amazing, I keep wondering why is there so many pics of garnet on the internet these days is it because of the new episode of SU the answer, I don't know, but i do know that all these drawings are AMAZING!

If it's regarding this first design of Garnet then I suppose it is.

You know this is an interesting concept on how fusions work.
Not only is it considered 'taboo' for different gems to fuse, but first time fusing makes a more 'crude' version of the two-in-one, and most likely overtime, prolonged fusion 'merges' everything down to the physical level, it's pretty fascinating if you think about it, wonder what people will do for the gem-sonas in regards to fusion now? lol

This is stunning. The episode was awesome and Cotton Candy Garnet is my favorite thing now. I wonder if she would show her old hairstyle to Steven if he asked nicely.

Well, shapeshifting is exactly what I had in mind. She'd never regenerate into her first version if she got poofed again.

From all we've seen of Ruby and Sapphire since their introduction in "Jailbreak," this is the first time that they've come across as (there's no better word for it) KIDS! Inexperienced, unsure of themselves ... it's all there and it's wonderful! Bless 'em.

If you're talking about how Garnet was the first time then yes, I do agree that she showed the behavior of a kid who's out discovering herself and everything around her.

And thank you, glad you like my version of Garnet's first form.

You have to love this image, not just because you drew it but because it just adds to Garnet's ideas of "Love takes time and effort" They fuse for the first time and its this raw mor literal sense of fusion where thier bodies just sort of mashed together. It took time for them to become the perfect gem they are today, and it only serves as a testament to their love and effort.

Yeah, but when everyone and their grandmother is doing the same picture it becomes easier to notice differences in quality, and yours is definitely of higher quality than others.

You have no idea how happy I am right now to read that compliment about the drawing's quality.
Sadly I'm used to the notion that when you see your hard work not being much recognized with favorites and notes and comment from the viewers it's not that great of a piece. Which is not true and shouldn't be based on such thing, but that's how it works on a place like internet.

spiderwilliam13 In reply to HazuraSinner [2016-01-05 17:57:05 +0000 UTC]
Well I just leave comments on the artwork in question, notes can be out of context and while people may not favorite it that doesn't mean that they appreciate it any less. Although... I think you've definitely earned yourself one.
Just go forward in all your beliefs and remember that just because people don't say you're appreciated, that doesn't mean you aren't.

HazuraSinner In reply to spiderwilliam13 [2016-01-05 18:08:34 +0000 UTC]
I said all those out of the bat and just realized that notes here are meant as private notes, my bad! Just a comment or even a favorite are fine, there's no need for words sometimes.
It's just that the only problem I, and many other artists, have with this is that if someone likes the work and can at least fave it to show they like it they sometimes don't do that. Many just take the picture, save it in their folders and leave without showing some appreciation for our work. Unfortunately this way we don't know if what we do is good enough and enjoyable to the public. That's the only thing I have to say about this. Oh well, what can one do. ': /
But of course that doesn't change my beliefs and the way I see my work, no need to worry about that, and thanks for the kind words of encouragement.
