The Initiative was disbanded after Dark Reign and Osborn's fall from grace, but see it will be making a return during the Fear Itself storyline. As for 3-D Man's fate... couldn't tell ya.

He's been around the Marvel U forever, recently called into the Skrull Invasion because of his unique ability to see through their shape-changing abilities when even Wolverine couldn't pick one out of his own Avengers team.
