Thanks for the encouragement! Hitting the drawing table as soon as I sign out! Already got Sunday's characters ready to roll-out, but a artist always draws (unless theirs beer, then an artists' gotta drink! LOL) So to you, keep at it and draw as much as possible. Take what you like from other artist and add it to your own, eventually you'll find your own flow! I'm always incorperating new stuff into my style and by the feedback, it appears to be working!

same thing for me, I try to mix a cartoon style with a more realistic.
depending on the drawing I'm working on it goes more cartoon or more realistic.
I'm right now practicing some fantasy style, like D&D characters I like that stuff, although I don't play RPG on table, but the art is awesome.
I'm copying something from books to practice expressions.
I've been to lazy, I hope now I get into real training

You've got a style that goes from very realistic to almost animated and definitely have great composition. I'm the same, as I can mimic almost any artist style from Jim Lee to Chris Giarusso (the guy behind Mini-Marvels, definitely an influence on my style!) but never really found "my own style" so to say. But I read an article from one of my faves and he stated that he developed his signature style by taking little things from his favorites and added them all together to come up with his. It took awhile, but I feel in away that the style I draw in, even though some is borrowed, is uniquely me! Your definitely on the right track, just keep tweaking it and most of all keep practicing!

the realistic stuff came form some drawing classes years back, I know how to lay some real shadows, but I'm having problems with nice looking hatches.
fur and hair are problems for me too.
that's the way. we both will keep at it until our own style is fully formed.
anyway when that style has gained live it will keep developing
