You know, before she was confirmed to be Stacy's sister, my headcanon for Ginger's last name was "Nguyα» n"!
Which begs the question: Why aren't there many Vietnamese-American characters in pop culture (as far as I know)? The only one I know of is Kimberly Rosenthal from Doonesbury (as you can guess by her last name, she was originally adopted by a white American family).
Speaking of barely-represented Asian sub-groups in pop culture, there's also the Lao-American Souphanousinphone family in King of the Hill. Chinese-American voice actress Lauren Tom voices both Kahn's wife Minh and daughter Kahn Jr. (aka "Connie"). Lauren Tom has also done various other voices, such as Amy Wong and her mother Inez in Futurama, Kuki "Numbuh 3" Sanban in Codename: Kids Next Door and a bunch of others I don't know.
