The shards of glass lay scattered like fragments of the world I once knew. Ivyβs garden, a verdant labyrinth of treachery, had become my battlefield. βReturn her to me,β I demanded, my voice raw with a pain I had never allowed myself to feel before.
Poison Ivy, a siren cloaked in natureβs allure, smirked amidst the chaos I had wrought. βYour beloved is gone,β she taunted, her voice the hiss of leaves in the wind. The words struck like venom, and something primal within me surged.
Fueled by a tempest of grief and fury, I charged, only to be ensnared by the very vines that held Diana captive. Ivyβs power was overwhelming, her command of the earth absolute. She drew close, a predator masquerading as a nurturer.
My heart pounded against the vice of Ivyβs embrace; desperation clawed at my throat. βDiana,β I gasped, the name a plea, a prayer, a clarion call.
With a sinister smile, Ivyβs lips met mine, a kiss not of passion but of dominion. And as darkness crept into the edges of my vision, I knew I had fallen into a trap not just for the body, but for the soul. Engulfed by a creeping numbness, I thought of Diana, of vows and battles, of love that had soared and now, of a fate shared in the endless, ensnaring embrace of Poison Ivy.
