Description Yeeees, I'm back again, filling my time in between being bored and being more bored and watching The Hobbit over and over again. So, here she be...my latest Thorin fangirl session ^.^

The wounds of the past are hard to heal when the weapon still slices through our minds...

Created with Photoshop Elements 10.

I, of course, do not own anything related to The Hobbit, JRR Tolkien's empire or Peter Jackson's empire...or Richard Armitage, for that matter...damn it. I simply do this for fun.

Comments and critiques are always welcomed on my pieces.

BWAAAAHH ok, search up an episode of "The Vicar of Dibley", titled "The Handsome Stranger." (gee, three guesses who?) Not only is it funny just on it's own, but you get to see him smiling and giddy and SOOOOO FREAKIN' CUTE!!

Also, there's the mini-series "North and South," dunno if you've seen it. It's on YouTube, the whole thing. He's mostly sombre and severe throughout, but the verrrrrry ending, he gets all cute and happy and romantic and-and-and-an-an-an-*squee's and dies* Also, he looks DAMN fine in period clothing...suuuits and hat....and only he could make puffy sleeves super-manly.

Yes. Vicar of Dibley and North and South. You keep telling me and I keep forgetting to watch. I should just watch them XD I mean, I have the perfect opportunity for something to do while I wait for my PC to return to me. heehee WATCH ALL TEH ARMITAGE.

Omg...I don't know what it is. I am accidentally having Gisborne feels for no reason at all @_______@ rtygkuhjgfydtytjuhrthyg...Go on without me....*dies*

NORTH AND SOUTH. WATCH IT. AND VoD. ACTUALLY, BOTH. NOW. HERE, I CAN GET YOU STARTED WITH SOME CUTE ARMITAGE! Here ya go! [link] Cuteness starts at about 8:50, but the main plot, in case you feel like skipping over the other stuff (not recommended: reeeaally funny!) is that the Vicar is annoyed that another "stupid city moron" has come along to the village to buy up one of the houses there.

AND HERE, NORTH AND SOUTH, EPISODE ONE! [link] FOR GOD'S SAKE, WATCH! BECAUSE I NEED SOMEONE ELSE TO FANGIRL WITH!

Oooh, don't get me started! I'm actually in the middle of writing a lil' Gisborne fic right now...I plan to make it happy and sad all rolled up into one!

NO!! WE WILL GO THROUGH THE FEELZ TOGETHER!! And I love how this is "accidental" feelz...there is NOTHING accidental about having Gisborne feelz...it stays with me to this day...

As far as Vicar of Dibley goes, do you recommend I start with episode one? just so I know whats going on? XD I normally dont like jumping into the middle of a show and being confused cuz I skipped everything else.

OKAY, DEAR MISTRESS. I SHALL DO MY BEST TO WATCH IT SOON (N&S) . I MAY TONIGHT OR AT THE LATEST TOMORROW AND PERHAPS WE MAY COMMENCE THE FANGIRLING.

Awwwwwww. I shall definitely read it and bring tissues.

OKAY. WE SHALL DO THIS. I call them accidental since its been months since I've watched it.

HeadmistressMercedes In reply to Goosie-Boosie [2013-06-10 05:10:51 +0000 UTC]

No, I don't think there's much of a need to have to start right with episode one. Basically, Geraldine is a female vicar in a small, sleepy English town, and she has her friend Alice (who is completely braindead) and her team at the church, each hilarious in their own way. And they have fun. There's not a whole lotta linear plot to mess you up. It's pretty much episode-by-episode. I didn't watch the whole series, but I wasn't confused at the least when I watched this episode. But it's up to you ^.^

YES. DO IT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I NEED TO BUY IT ON DVD SO I CAN WATCH BEAUTIFUL ARMITAGE ON MY AWESOME TV.

Haha, well, that may be true. I think Robin Hood is on Netflix, if you have it and are inclined.

I seriously think I want to watch this show now. I never have laughed so freaking hard in my life. omg. omg. Why did I not watch this sooner? I am terrible. Usually the things I wait to watch are the ones I like the most XD

EVERYONE NEEDS A BIT OF ARMITAGE ON THEIR TV.

I do have Netflix but tis on my other laptop (and its my sister-in-law's account) and this laptop is virus ridden so i dont wanna go on it on it. X3 I wanna get that show on DVD, tho. Robin Hood. As sad as it ends .___.

Bwahaha, another convert! It's so funny, isn't it?? You'd think it's be preachy and stuff, but it's completely not at all! It's hilarious! Good ol' British humour

And ISN'T HE THE CUTEST???????? In his John-esque jumpers and his mega-watt smile!! I love his reaction when he finds out Geraldine is the vicar, and also when Geraldine thinks he's asking her to marry him and someone else, and she's firing off all the questions...too funny! And I love the subplot of Alice thinking she is the last descendant of Jesus...so much awesome! I kinda wish he was in more of the episodes, but he's only in two...oh, and the Comic Relief special...which I haven't seen yet...hmm...*trolls YouTube* Damn, YT is down! NOOOO!!!

Have you started North and South yet?? OMG I cannot WAIT until you get to the end of that...SO MUCH GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!!! Uuugh...I mean, don't get me wrong, the entire thing is awesome, but still...SO MUCH CUTENESS!!! Guh, not fair...why is he not here...on this continent...in this city...with me...right now...? SO MUCH UNFAIRNESS!!

OMG. You know what I was expecting? XDDD I was expecting some kind of serious show XDDD BOY was I wrong, haha XDD Its so freaking hilarious and had me laughing to the kind of level that disturbs people.

OMFG. Her freaking REACTION when she finds out he wants to actually marry her. All the screaming and running around different places. That was just the funniest reaction to a proposal I have ever seen on a tv show XDDD I find Alice very amusing. And OMG. Yes. Teh Armitage <333 He's like so lovestruck and flirty and he uses that low voice of his and just I can't. I almost had to stop watching cuz I needed to squee so bad XD He just does that to people. I think you can relate.

I think it was a lovely way to end the series, their marriage. I totally need to watch the one when they get married and all the others if I can. Must get DVDs too. Too awesome. ROFL, and may I just talk about the freaking chocolate bar hidden in the bible? XDDDDD

I have not gotten to watch it yet but sooooooon, my dear Mistress. I promise OwO

Haha, ok, think about me for a second, who I am...so you REALLY think I'd be able to bear watching a preachy, Bible-thumping show, even if the beautiful Mr Armitage is in it? I wouldn't be able to stand it! But yeah, it seems to embody the nicer bits of the church, nothing preachy, nothing telling us all we're going to Hell...naw, it's just fun and hil-AR-ious!

YES! HER REACTION! I like how, when she runs out of the house to start her lil' screaming rant, you see Richard start giggling...SO MUCH CUTE!!!♥♥♥ He just can't keep a straight face! And her reaction, Oh my God...if it had been anyone else, it might have come off as stupid, but she makes it SHINE! I love when she runs to Harry's sister and just starts kissing her all over! The look on Rosie's face! And then when she starts tolling the church bells at, like, 11 at night or whatever! Brilliant! They are SO CUTE TOGETHER!

And yes, I TOLD YOU!! I continue to prove my prowess in fangirl moments! Like I said, he's just so happy for the whole thing, smiling and giggling (manliest giggle EVAR!!) and being bashful...when he asks Geraldine for her hand...*swooooon*

But the thing I like most about this whole lil' episode is this, something you do not see often, and I'm just gonna say it: Geraldine is a big girl. And Harry is the hottest thing this side of anywhere. And he falls completely head-over-heels for her. And they fall in love. AND they get together. You can see Harry is completely taken with Geraldine. In the media, that is NOT something you see everyday. And it was SO REFRESHING! AND SO DAMN CUTE!!! Uuggh my heart cannot take the feelings of cute!

Ahaha, I had forgotten about the chocolate bar in the Bible...eeheehee, gotta love it!

Hahaha, honestly I think you could put yourself through anything for the lovely Armitage XDDD Heehee, I get what you mean, tho. Totally a good show to get in for a few thousand laughs XD I haven't encountered that for a while. Most the things I have been watching of late have been so feelsy @____@ This shall cure my heart just enough so I can begin killing it again XDDD

OMG. I would love to know how filming that scene went. I bet it was freaking HILARIOUS. Hahaha XDDD I got looks at the way I was laughing at that scene XD cuz I was watching it via headphones on this loaner laptop and no one knew what I was watching XDDD

Indeed! XD Man, anytime you fangirl over something, please tell me because most of the stuff you wind up fangirling about, I end up falling in love with. You are liek magic or something.

YES. THANK YOU <3333 That is exactly right. It really isn't something you see often! Heck, even seeing a thick girl be the headliner of a show is uncommon but for her to score herself a gorgeous Armitage-y man <333 Wow. I think thats why I have fallen for them and their cuteness! And the thing that makes me smile the most is that the weight was never even an issue, its not even brought up. That gives me soooo many freaking feels. I'm just so dfghkjgjkghdhjkytreytyt It made me so hyper. We need more stuff like this on TV! We just do!

hahaha, that was so funny XDDDD

I know...so much of the stuff I've been watching lately is just so saddening (*coughRobinHoodcough*) and feels-inducing. I need something to gladden my poor, bullet-hole ridden heart. And I think that's just the thing! Oh, I adored the painting scenes in that episode! Ahhh Owen...the perverted one...man oh man, is he funny!

I know, eh?? Especially since Richard seems a giggly kinda guy, as odd as that sounds saying it, so I think he'd have a hard time keeping a straight face! He's also still giggling when Geraldine comes running back into the house, for God's sake! Ahh, so much cute! My brain simply cannot handle such dangerous levels of AWWWW!! ♥♥

Hehe, I think this is because we are so very much alike in fangirl loves, so if there's something I like, chances are you'll be in the same ballpark anyways. But yes, never fear, I shall keep you informed, as you keep me informed of all things Sherlock. There is another movie I'm searching out, called "Frozen," that he's in. I don't know how much he's in it, but he's certainly there. It also stars Shirley Henderson (Um, Moaning Myrtle from HP, if that rings a bell at all. She's good) and it's a kind of thriller thing. There are clips on YT. I hope to rent the movie sometime this week, so if I do, I'll definitely let you know if it's watch-worthy

I KNOOOOOOOOOOW!! That's the best bit. It is never, EVER even VAGUELY mentioned or hinted at or side-glanced. He just loves her. And it's beautiful. SQUEEEEEEE!! Oh my God, I can't breathe for all the cute!!

Exactly XD Every now and then we need to heal our hearts so we can endure any future pain that comes our way. and this show is just perfect. I just watched another episode and OMG. *YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERED A SHERLOCK ACTOR* XD Dr. Frankland from Baskerville was in an ep. I was like "Omg...I know this guy...who is it...who is it...noo...its not him, is it? OMG IT IS" HE LOOKED SO MUCH YOUNGER. I love when stuff like that happens XD

And yes, the painting scenes made me laugh XDDD

Eeeeee <3333 It does things to my heart thinking about giggly Armitage. I guess its cuz all the things I've seen him in thus far he is unhappy and in this he's happy so I'm all ASDFGHJKLDGFSDGFHGJ I have half a mind to draw him.

Yeah 8D I think thats awesome!! Thank you, my Mistress x3 "Frozen" hmm? Sounds intriguing. I may look it up on my own time but in case you get to it before I do, let me know what you think of it. (I like Shirley Henderson She was in an ep of Doctor Who)

I KNOW. I JUST WANT TO GO BACK AND WATCH THAT EP LIEK 20 ZILLION MORE TIMES. AAAAGH. SO CUTE. CANNOT HANDLE ALL THE CUTE, MISTRESS. NO. I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO GET INTO MORE THINGS. BUT I AM AND CANNOT STOP. *DIES*

Bwaha, that was like me and Robin Hood, when I found out Gary the innkeeper, Gordon Kennedy, was Little John. I also recognized half the guest stars, too...Tony Slattery, Josie Lawrence, Dexter Fletcher...yup. That's what comes of watching at lot of British TV...you end up knowing EVERYone! And wow, what episode is he in?? I wanna see!

I KNOW! It's so nice to see him happy in a role for once, though he does have his squee moment at the end of The Hobbit, too (BROHUG!!!!!!!!!!) ARRRGGG CAN'T TAKE IT! And you should totally draw him! And link we up when you've completed the masterpiece!

Indeed! The reviews I read for the film were quite positive, though some said it dragged a bit sometimes. That said, I find many people get too bored too easily nowadays...not enough explosions and such, but I will have to see for myself.

I WATCHED THE FIRST PART LAST NIGHT, AND SIMPLY THAT LITTLE BIT MADE ME SWOON! WHEN HE'S ASKING GERALDINE IS A HANDSOME STRANGER HAS EVER COME AND SWEPT HER OFF HER FEET...GUUUH IT'S TOO MUCH!! TOO MUCH CUTE, TOO MUCH SEX VOICE, TOO MUCH GORGEOUS STARE, TOO-DAMN-MUCH!!

PFFT. Everyone says its because the BBC legit only has 8 actors. Hahahahaha XDDDDDD

The ep I saw him in was called "Autumn" He plays a guy named Simon, who ends up being a total jerk DX Still, it is a great episode x3 WITH ICE CREAM.

He does! I think that hug is the cutest part of the movie. The way he looks at him with such fondness after that point made me happy x3 Thorin smiles are best. I can't wait to see how they interact in this next movie.

I am surely going to ATTEMPT to capture the majesty that is Armitage.

Eh, I hardly listen to reviews, honestly. A lot of the ones that end up getting bad reviews are the ones I love the most. XD

STOP IT. YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE ME WANT TO WATCH IT AGAIN AND I ALREADY HAVE SO MUCH TO WATCH AND-- *BOOM* BUT THEY ARE PERFECTION. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

HeadmistressMercedes In reply to Goosie-Boosie [2013-06-13 03:56:16 +0000 UTC]

Haha, well, that is most certainly true. As soon as you see one show or mini series from the BBC, you are bound to see every single actor in something else. It's just the way it works. Fortunately, I have yet to find a truly terrible actor in their repertoire, so it's all good.

ICE CREAM!! Oh God, now I want ice scream sammiches...mmm...sammich...yum yum!

It was! When I saw the premiere, the entire theater just went "AWWWW!" collectively! It was almost as amazing as the collected laugh when we first saw Thranduil mounted on his magic elk-moose....that was so funny! Stupid Thranduil...I mean sure, I can see you not wanting to get your elves killed, but the least you would do is give food and shelter after the fact! Yeesh...dumbass...

DO IT! I EAGERLY AWAIT THE RESULTS!

That's true. Most reviewers these days, I find, don't seem to actually pay any attention to...y'know...the movie they're supposed to be watching (*coughTheHobbitcough*). It drives me nutters.

GUUUH MUST START WATCHING MY NEWEST SLATE OF ARMITAGE GOODNESS!! OH GOD OH GOD SO EXCITE!

Goosie-Boosie In reply to HeadmistressMercedes [2013-06-14 07:45:16 +0000 UTC]

Hahahaha, yep! That's how it goes!

BTW, Just finished watching all of Vicar of Dibley. and UGH. Do NOT watch the 2013 Comedy relief special. The 2007 special is the one Richard is in (though, he's barely in it, its rather short too) But OMG The 2013 special just pissed me off >___< I am going to pretend it just doesn't exist...D8 I didn't like how she acted in it, kinda like her marriage meant little to her and I didn't like that. NAWT MAI OTP *gets into fighting stance* Grrrrz....This is the equivelent of how I might act come season 3 of you know what...

But yes! Theater reactions can be the best. Well, except when there's a deeply emotional and/or sad seen or a scene thats not meant to be funny and people laugh XD That gets bothersome.

I SHALL DO MY BEST.

Yeah DX Sometimes I think reviewers are either just too bored or paid off when they give their reviews to things. Like, you can see a review to an utterly horrible but expensive movie and it has a fantastic review and is called "The Movie Of The Year" ROFL, Do you know how many times I've heard that deep movie voice say "Movie Of The Year" for like 20 different films?

WOO. WATCH LIEK YOU'VE NEVER WATCHED BEFORE

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HeadmistressMercedes In reply to Goosie-Boosie [2013-06-14 15:53:20 +0000 UTC]

Awww that sucks. Yeah, I know the 2007 barely had our beloved Richard in it, though the ending of that one, where Sting and his wife get pie-d...or cake-d in the face was amusing, and Harry's reaction at the end was quite funny, I never saw the 2013. Didn't know there WAS one for 2013. Aw, that blows. Haha, well, it's only for Comedy Relief, so it's for a good cause, and we'll leave it at that. Beyond the world of charity, it don't exist. End. Of. Story.

I didn't get too much of that at the premiere. I remember the scene with Radagast the Brown, and his little hedgehog dies temporarily...the whole theater just went "awwww" unhappily. Then we were cheered up when he came back to us! I also had an awesome experience with Star Trek. Everyone laughed together (and probably secretly swooned together for the bromance bits )

I know!! I thought "Movie of the Year" was, like, a singular title given out to a movie that combined good story, amazing acting, good quality special FX, and good balance all in one brilliant package! Not to whoever had the biggest cheque to give out or who had the access to the most MS-DOS computers! Yeesh, I know. I read reviews, often multiple ones, to see if I can piece together any links to look out for (for instance, I knew Cumberbatch was awesome anyway, but this was solidified when even reviewers that hated ST said he was the best thing ever), but I don't take them seriously.

I HAVE BEEN!! STARING AT SCREEN AND DROOLING LIKE A MANIAC!! He has tattooooos here....mmmm...

Goosie-Boosie In reply to HeadmistressMercedes [2013-06-16 20:49:38 +0000 UTC]

I found the 2013 one while looking for the 2007 one because I didn't know the year Armitage was in and I was just Ick. But I have filed it under things that don't exist so I am okay again XDD Thaaaank you <3333333

OMG. I was the same. I was kicking in my seat. I was going to be so heartbroken if the hedgehog didn't make it. My annoying experience was mostly the first time I saw Star Trek cuz I had a really rude fellow audience (ROFL, I was one of the ones swooning)

Yeah XDDD Its like you cant trust anyone for reviews. Like, a couple Star Trek reviews I saw annoyed me. Now, you know me. I love me some Cumberbatch but to say he was the ONLY good thing about the movie is absolute nonsense. He was among the things that made it great but he wasn't the ONLY thing XD Ya know? I mean, seriously I have seen movies that can have a top notch, fabulous actor but a shit plot and I would end up hating the movie, no matter how great they played their part. A good movie is a combination of great actors, excellent, captivating plot and good FX (this last one depends on the type of movie, of course)

But yeah XD Sometimes you just gotta see something for yourself and not depend on the reviews.

Good girl! Now we shall never speak of it again.

Seriously? What was this jackass doing that made him so rude? I'd punch him.

I KNOW!! I read some reviews that the characters in ST were already "starting to get old" because McCoy was always grumpy and complaining, Sulu flew the ship well (um, that's a bad thing, is it) and Scotty was a bit over-the-top, even for a Scot (yes, these are real complaints about the movie. I'm not making these up). And I'm like...soooohow they were in the original series, then? McCoy always complained. He was always grumpy. That was his point. Sulu was an excellent pilot, relatively level-headed. That was his point. Scotty was comic relief, being a little bit of a caricature of a Scot to be amusing. That was his point. So the things was made the characters endearing in the OS are now no longer good things to have. Yet, you KNOW that if they had changed the characteristics of the main crew, the same reviewers would have gone BALLISTIC. God, grow the hell up already!

*le sigh* Ok, rant over. OH! Except I read some stupid comments online (I really should know better) about how the dwarves were portrayed in The Hobbit. Someone, without giving any specific reasons why, went all "what would Tolkien think if he saw how his characters were portrayed in this movie? What a disappointment!" I felt like writing "Excuse me, are YOU Tolkien? No? Then how can you presume to know what he would have thought? How can you assume he'd be disappointed? Maybe he would be, but can you say that for certain? You can't. So stop trying to pretend to know the inner workings of a man never never met. Dickweed." Morons. They're so immature. Do they not know that, for many movies based on books, the authors have a hand in writing and approving the screenplays? JK Rowling did that with HP, John le Carre did that with Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy (hell, he was IN the movie!), etc etc. So if the VERY AUTHORS WHO WROTE THE NOVELS are ok with some changes, SO SHOULD YOU BE! SHUT. UP. ALREADY.

Ok...ok...rant over...*whew*

Indeed x33

What the hell, seriously? XDDD I don't understand people. I swear, the only way you wouldnt get people to complain is if the old actors were in it and we all know thats a little impossible. I personally love the movies, old and new and believe some people just need to get over themselves. They just want a reason to complain. You can't please everyone but pleasing the majority is called a success, I think.

Yeah, I dont like when people try to get into the author's minds like they are them and know what they would and wouldn't want ROFL Those diehard fans. I mean, some writer's are open to change, like you said with JK Rowling. Even Stephen King. He said once "like I have freedom with my books, I want them to have freedom with their movies" I think thats nice 83

I swear those were actual complaints from a reviewer in the local newspaper. And yeah, he's probably one of the guys who wants the original cast (obviously with two corpses in the lead...I'm sure they can have master puppeteers or something move them >.<) and the same stuff from the TNG movies. Which sucked. Blech. I don't understand why people go out of their way to find stuff to complain about? I don't go see a movie I know I'll hate, then bitch about it later. Talk about a waste of time. Yeesh.

I know! I know a lot of them would say that they are the ones who matter because they are the ones who got swept away in the magic of the books. But the author painstakingly (presumably) crafted this beautiful world for you. If they can handle changes on the world they themselves created, so can you. Grow up.

Arrrg not feeling good, Goosie. All achy and blah. And sleep-deprived. But I don't wanna go to bed! DON'T WANNA DON'T WANNA DON'T WANNA!! WAAH!!
