In deep woods and country, there are trappers and hunters who need to hunt for food to eat... They even hunt ad eat raccoons... But the meat fed someones family and the hide did not go to waste either...
It does seem slightly barbaric having a real tail on my belt, but creation and destruction are one in the same...

in deep deserts and far countries, there are wars, does it mean in the army the military who kill oponents should bring back their heads like trophies and put them on spikes on his front door?
By killing enemies he feeds his family as it's his job and using their heads like decorations wouldn't be a waste while the bodies are eaten by worms then by birds etc etc etc.
It's just nasty in my minds to use animals as decoration objects.

I also wear a leather coat... It keeps me warm and it looks good and I most likely ate the meat it came from... If not the same cow, then it's cousin... I am okay with this...
In the country my family comes from, we breed or hunt the animal, slaughter it, cook it, and eat every edible part... Even the gross stuff that many don't have the stomach to eat... We take the non edible parts, like horns, teeth, tail, hooves and coat and use it in whatever fashion we can think of because we still see use... The animal still serves a purpose... We waste nothing...
I like raccoons... They are very clever creatures that deserve much respect... I know.. Those little guys are smart and not to be trifled with... But if I'm up in my cabin in the woods, snowed in for days with food running dangerously low, you best believe I will kill and eat the hell out of anything that's made of meat... then wear it's coat... Instead of throwing the rest away, I would make use of it... Like it's tail...
