Gorgeous shot! I love the composition, and how the spider isn't the main focus of the shot, but is still important.
However, I would have kept a bit more of the spider in the picture. There's a couple other things I'd change. The light directly to the right of the spider is a tad distracting, personally I would try cloning it out. There's two threads that are also brighter than the rest of the web, I would try toning those down a bit, so they don't take the attention away from the rest of the web.
But overall, it's a very lovely shot.

The colours are really amazing. I like the fact you have a shot with complimentary colours (the orange of the arachnid's body opposed to the blue background) I can definitley feel this piece its pretty much like most of your work, expressive. The composition is phenomenal in the sense that thats how we read in the west, from top right to the bottom right of the page So that works really well. I think you should have revealed a little more of the spider in my opinion. I'm guessing you cropped it. Overall I think you did a really good job!
