I was practicing screen tones using Crashman's mental breakdown in the Megaman 2 Manga I'm working on. With his program starting to alter his shaking sanity, the killer program starts demanding Crash kill Rock, and starts wiping any choice he could have. With Crash wanting to help stop his dad's evil plan to control the world, he can't help but find the wavering sense of self terrifying. And poor Rock has to make the painful choice of taking down Crash before his sanity can split again, using his Information Card to help defeat Wily. Giving Crash some glory.Related content

That's why I ship him with ALOT of bosses from the games
and abuse him daily in my art, he's so adorable when flustered or upset! >//A//<

Who knows. Maybe after that he was repaired by Dr.Light and reprogrammed, so he could break free from Dr.Wily's program.

I really really like that idea...that maybe he was fixed by Dr. Light to be what he was intended to be and he could be...just cute little Crashy without the pain in his head. No more psychotic rages and what not <3

I think both Crash and Rock needs some comfort. Orange Crasher for being handless and most of the time lonely when hands are needed (not to mention, being used as a war machine like his brothers). And Blue Bomber early as young house helper, for being the only hope to restore the peace, everything that he must go through even when he's not so powerful at the beginning. No matter how hard he's trying to negociate before fight, usually he's being hated by Robot Masters.

Every bit of this...just yes. All of the Robot Masters, as well as Rock himself need something. Flash needs some confidence instilled in him and proof he's great, and Heat needs some mental security...just all of them the more you think about it. Rock would need the most though. He's just a little boy who offered himself to protect the world, knowing full well his brother 'died' before him in the same fight. Those tiny shoulders are holding a lot of weight. And no one he's protecting seems to care. As if they're owed a savior, and Rock is supposed to be doing this. Not that he did it to help them.
