Description
The Bakushi is a benevolent spirit that dwells along forgotten paths and in abandon villages. It acts as a shepherd of lost souls, gathering them in droves as it ferries them to the land of the dead.
Seeing a Bakushi is considered a good Oman as the spirit guides lost travelers along with it's lantern and wards off evil with it's light.
it is also said that each night the Bakushi passes through village to village and devours any evil spirit and the nightmares of those who sleep.
