And, you kow, I got my ass kicked more than once for saying that, but I freakin' rule, so i know i'm so so so right!!!!!
I love it when you give that Film Noir feeling, you know.
here, it is a waiting and facing.
the contrasts of light and darkness is amazing.
the quality breathtaking, and the model fascinating.
But what you do with teh camera has nothing to do withnteh gorgeous model.
it has to do with you.
What's hapening inside your head, what you see that noone else does, the way you capture angles, and most of it, your etnernally fascinating inspiration, and your dedication to photography.
Everyone else is a kid with a cam compare to you!

A nice strong directional light is perfect for b+w work and this is a greta example. Wow just goeas to show what a well placed light can do for an image.

The moment I saw this photo the thought that came into my mind, and you'll have to forgive my bluntness, was: This is motherfucking awesome! She looks tough, like she's about to kick someone's ass (or has just done so). Thinking along the "tough" lines, and this is just my opinion of course, it would have been really neat if she had a cigarette in one hand with a trail of smoke rising from it. It would fit so well with this shot!
The lighting is fantastic but I'm curious. Was it just the lighting of the one lamp seen in the shot or did you have other lighting as well?
