Gosh, this feels familiar. What... uh... did I start a huge project involving this protag? And was gonna keep going with it? Well... gosh this is embarrassing but....
Time, my how she flies.
I'm still working on this project on the side, but it's taken a serious back burner to numerous... much more pressing things (like paying bills). We do have plans to move forward with this, but I can't say when as life has been unpredictable, and every time in the past I made a tentative timeline things changed.
ANYway.
A fun little piece to work on for Cana. I've been getting a lot more details out of my work since I switched over to the galaxy note, and I think it really shines in this piece.

Where the hell were the Mario Bros during the entire period up until the one self-aware Koopa Troopa decided to take Samus... somewhere?

I assumed based on the initial picture for the series and one of Bowser's comments during one of the first pages that he and Ridley switched opponents realizing they couldn't beat their respective targets, but might have an advantage against the other. So I always assumed Ridley was fighting Peach (who was in a zero suit as that teaser image showed) and the Mario Brothers.

Well going by the last SOE pic, that Koopaling Bowser put in charge of guarding her. Though honestly if you read my above comment, I'd much rather it be her actually saving herself considering well this is still Samus Aran we're talking about. Plus this pic really proves she can actually pull off the badass look even in such fluffy princess attire so if this does continue I'd actually like to see that.

That's something only HeartGear would know originally. Again I do think it was the Koopaling or herself as no one else really at this point would honestly fit within the storyline. Also here's a thought: was she originally MEANT to even be saved? If you look at a lot of HeartGear works, even his comics or comissiions that aren't one shots, it doesn't always end with the bound being bound and captured escaping their predictament. Though you know what based on this pic I'm going to say she was meant to save herself. We are talking about Samus Aran here and really this to me shows she's just as capable/more capable then anyone else of getting herself out of whatever predicament Bowser has in store for her.

You know due to lack of activity of Systems of Entertainment I was thinking of a what if continuation scenario. One that more followed what happened right after "False Hope" except this time with Princess Samus actually being able to escape the third bondage (due to rocking back and forth enough to get the key and free herself with her athletic abilities) and actually start taking charge of the situation. Because I figured the reason Bowser had her in that form was as a deal with Ridley to off her and Bowser figure he could weaken her as a princess. And for awhile it worked but Samus soon found her true inner strength again and managed to not only find a way to bind the koopa to exit the tower but also take out the guards she couldn't before. Actually learning how to fight in the garment more praticially and take out a large number of koopas since hey if Mario can do it, why not Samus? Also she takes advantage of the fact that as shown in "Advantage" the clothes can't simply be taken off due to magically being bound to her to act as a buffer when facing Bowser. But still not being able to take them off due to the Magickoopa getting away and... yeah I've been thinking of this for awhile honestly but hey I think your story was actually pretty interesting and wanted to see it continue and am glad to see so. Hopefully with the badass Samus seen here. Since yeah though I appreciate the more docile princess Samus for bondage purposes I have to say I just love the idea of her being an ass kicker still even in such attire and this picture proves just how well that can work.

Ah, old familiar faces.
The billowing layers of her dress look good and I think her expressiveness turned out nicely. Her eyes look sharp and when you combine it with her pose it seems to project the confidence everyone's come to expect from her character.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but the petticoats are literally so fluffy, you can't see any space between her legs because they expand to fill it.
It's a level of fluffyness so spectacular that it must be kept under a more conservative over-dress. So prodigious, human eyes aren't ready for it.
