Just one thing: The Magician is supposed to have an ininity simbol over his head!
Also, The Fool is walking next to a cliff.
Your drawings are good, but don't make the same mistake as Luis Royo did with his Tarot!

We are, of course, familiar with the classic rider waite deck. And while many of our cards take elements from the rider waite deck, we took liberties where we felt were appropriate.
Personally, we feel that there's nothing wrong with new decks making their own decisions with the imagery.
Tarot isn't a dogma. It's an art and deeply personal spiritual exercise. Why limit it?

I would have thought Emperor or perhaps Strength would have been more appropriate.

In the case of emperor, it's because the card represents power and authority (makes sense in regards to Ganondorf and his relationship with the Gerudo). I was mistaken for strength as Chariot (representing physical power, often interpreted as conquest) might be more appropriate.

We liked the Magician because it was a nice mix of the taking of power as well as duplicity. For the Emperor, we thought the King of Red Lions was more appropriate (even if he was never seen in OoT, it can be inferred via other sources) being the authority of the land, even if he is undermined by Ganondorf.
As for the Chariot, you bring up a good point about conquest, but it also seems to be related primarily to Victory, which isn't really what Ganondorf ever achieves. The Chariot I've always read more about movement and direction, and since many interpretations featured horses, we felt Epona was a more appropriate fit.
We also liked the idea of the first three cards in the deck featuring the three major characters in nearly all Zelda games. 0-The Fool (Link) I-The Magician (Ganondorf) and II-The High Priestess (Zelda) was the idea that inspired us to make the deck in the first place.
All this said, I admit it's all about interpretation and personal context. Either the Chariot or the Emperor certainly could work for Ganondorf. But for us, in this deck, he will always be the Magician.

Well it fits even in Nintendo's lore. When Link graced the scene of Soul Calibur 2 as a guest character, Ganondorf was referred to as an evil magician in Link's game bio. Truly, no one would fit the role better than he. Well, maybe Vaati or someone, but I figure Vaati might fill another role if he shows up in the deck.

Alright, on another note, that card illustration of the magician is really amazing! And badass.
