I just decided I wanted to color these last pages. Executive order!
I'm thinking about changing the text in the final panel to :So, with no further ado, let me officially welcome you to the club (actually, I just changed it. Maybe I'll emphasize OFFICIALLY). But I dunno. I've been going over and over this page wondering if it's having quite the impact I want.. I think it's there but I just don't know.
In fact, the past few pages have been a struggle for me. I'm not sure why. It's like... coming to the end of this section... it's like the world doesn't want to end. Maybe there's a part of me that doesn't want it to end it her. And that's coming through in the art. It's tough.
It's just... well...
I have lots of thoughts about this section of SL. I'll write more about it some other time, but there were things I would have changed were I to redo it. Have the page outline worked out. Establish and stick to model sheets. Be more economical with characters who will have speaking/significant roles. Have the whole story just be... tighter, more concise. Figuring out how to post more consistently/ get a buffer going (which only ever happened briefly). Working out voting. But overall, I'm gonna really miss this world. Nomoko and everything... it's kind of like saying goodbye to friends who are moving away. You hope you did right by the relationship, you kind of want to stick around, but it's time to move on.
Maybe I'm just waxing poetic as this closes out. I'm sure some people will say "Just stay!", but it's time to move on to a new story. New friends are waiting just around the corner ^^

It can be a bit rough to leave the story behind, but.. It doesn't have to end there, does it? It may be time to move on to other worlds for now, but that doesn't mean that there can't -ever- be a return to this one. No need to burn that bridge, right?
Think of it like a vacation rather than a final goodbye, is what I'd say.

The dissatisfaction you're talking about it something I've noticed with a lot of people I've talked to, and myself as well when I do things this way.
Even though you have an overall plan for the whole thing, you're still doing one page at a time, and finishing each page, then directly publishing it.
That doesn't give you a chance to edit the story as a whole properly, which means that you will notice things on individual looking back that you just didn't think of at the time - edits you would make before publication if you were releasing the whole thing at once, ne?
It's just a hazard of this style of storytelling that can't really be avoided.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks that Suspicious Links could make an interesting film (though in order to impress an audience who don't like DiD and that sort of thing, change things up a bit) and keep the sorts of characters we have in this story, they're all really quite interesting

So it looks like this is the end of the FMP, eh? It was quite the ride, especially with the suspense in the first capture scene, to the NITE bear arc, and in the climax. I really enjoyed it, even if the end seemed a bit rushed. I can't wait to see where the next branch takes us.

The colored image is a very nice way to end this out on and I do like Heart's more unsure look compared to the President's more confident one as yeah even if Heart is more sure this is still a world she's not yet expierenced so naturally wouldn't have the swagger down pat.
Anyway hope you still go back to this world at some point down the line but yeah can't wait to see the next worlds and what else Heart is going to have to do to complete her quest.

Lordy. Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt, lost it, bought another off the interwebs, and then found the original shoved under my bed with a year's worth of dust and lint.

It comes to an end, but I'll say, I'm even more excited to see the next world. Like the girl detective or the horror one (I believe)

First off I really like the ending of this symbolically. Remember the reason Heart the actual heart not just the story Heart was taken in the first place was not only because of her inner desires to want to explore more unique kinks, but her weakness in allowing herself to be taken and held. But seeing story Heart struggle in all forms of being powerless from bad days at work to being captured to being talked down and growing and finding ways to conquer or assert some authority and command has actually been a very heartening journey. So the idea of ending it with her officially being given or feeling power and realizing what she wants to do with it from someone else who for once trusts her with such power really works and really feels like a good character journey.
So yeah I do feel symobically this was a great way to end this story... or at least this part of it. Again I know you want to move on to other worlds and other stories, but who ever said you couldn't ever come back to this story if you feel the urge to do so? Seriously in a world of Mad Max Fury Road and Fuller House, there's always the idea of returning to a personal project or concept you love if you want to continue it. And really this is a world rife with so many story opportunities it'd be so easy to continue on with it. Honestly once you finish the other worlds you could easily come back to this one. I know I would eagerly want to see more and so would all of your other fans.
But even if not I think this was a very well thought of world and storyline. And yes I'm sure at this point going back to redo it would knit a tighter story but... honestly that's just part of the fan process. I know that personally from stories I've made. Furthermore this started out as a project to grow yourself as an artist and writer and interact with the fans and was something you knew would spiral into places you weren't able to predict. And where it spiraled wound up being really incredible and I'm sure there are more tales like that on the horizon so can't wait to see them. Whether or not you wind up doing more with this there's still a lot of great story and art within you and can't wait to expierence more of that in the coming days/weeks/months/years/ however long you feel like continuing on.

Honestly, considering this is a story in which Heart is online: moving from world to world, there's no real reason that aspects from each story can't follow her into the others, and play different roles as well.
Like say... Nomoko.

Well, it has been quite the ride, definetely can understand how you'd want to stick to them (Nomo turned out to be such a cuuuutie..insane, unstable, dangerous cutie!).

You can always come back to this story in the future. It can either be a stand alone story or it depending on how SL ends a whole, Heart could come back to it to hopefully bring a resolution to it.

Its kinda weird seeing this page, at the top we have a detailed sketch, then some colored pages with first draft sketch at the end. This page would have done well if you were doing a different realities explanation or something.

In a perfect world, the people in power would realize this, and they would take that burden seriously, and do their best to shoulder that burden with dignity, respect, and honesty.
...but it's not a perfect world, is it...?
Regardless, it's almost surreal that this is coming to an end. I'd honestly forgotten that this was just ONE world of many.
And, for what it's worth, I think you did this world, and the people in it, amazing justice!
If the following worlds and stories are of at least this quality, then it's gonna be a long ride that will be a pleasure to be a part of.
