No matter the environment, there was a distinct comfort and confidence Muriel’s words always instilled within Pearl. Despite the trials they’d all been through, the tribulations of attempting to mount this damn Zuger— Muriel was there to keep Pearl’s spirits high, and remind her why she’s here in the first place. She can’t help but smile with pride and gratitude, knowing she’s doing going beyond making a difference for those around her— She’s making her mentor proud.
