In-game screenshot of an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper (ODST) from Halo Reach (MCC).A small squad of ODSTs were deployed to rendezvous with Spartan B-312 'Noble Six' who lead a small group assault to destroy Covenant ground and air defenses surrounding the enemy occupied Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) 'Sword Base' during the Fall of Reach. Clearing the Covenant forces would allow the deployment of additional UNSC forces including Spartan Noble Team to destroy valuable UNSC 'assets' in Operation White Glove under the direction of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Auntie Dot; Auntie Dot served as the operative military intelligence liaison between Colonel Holland and Noble team. The 'torch and burn' orders originally given to Noble Team later changed to 'asset denial'; those assets included the Smart AI Cortana and ONI Civilian Scientific Consultant Doctor Catherine Halsey in a secret ONI/Forerunner research base which was later destroyed by Noble Team.
