The TK Troopers, otherwise known as Stormtroopers or "Bucketheads", began fulfilling the role of the Galactic Empire's infantry as the Stormtrooper Corps. The Clone Troopers that were once the backbone of the Grand Army of the Republic were retired and replaced by these Imperial Stormtoopers; many clone commandos were retained to train their replacements. While initially serving as shock troopers, and guards or escorts for important assets, the Imperial Stormtroopers would eventually become the main fighting force for the Galactic Empire, even replacing a majority of the Imperial Army. There are also a number of specialized roles roles within the Stormtrooper Corps such as Scout Troopers, Snow Troopers, and Shore Troopers.

Imperial Stormtroopers are natural born humans conscripted or recruited for service to the Empire. They are trained by experienced combat veterans including former clone commandos, professional mercenaries, and renown bounty hunters. The Stormtroopers are indoctrinated to be fiercely loyal to the Empire during their training. The Stormtooper Regulars are usually equipped with plastoid plated armor, and a standard E-11 Blaster Rifle. Unfortunately the white armor meant to be intimidating makes for an easy target in combat and the helmet has a tendency to limit the troopers' vision, resulting in severely decreased accuracy and increased confusion when under fire.
