Lolz, I did something with almost the same concept^^
Am I right if I say that you added some more shadows on them? I forgot about this moment shown in the background, but that's probably the only reason why it's not almost identical to mine, in concept.
Just something that I saw here, but it's just a personal meaning: I wouldn't use pictures in this way you did on the second layer (those who are just visible a little), or not in this way at last, because when you put those borders together you can this kinda "cut-off" part, the line between the images very clear. But that's the only thing I saw.
Good work at all, and the sentence you added really gets back the feeling of this scene.

Well... I'm not sure anymore but I think... it was the gausic blur I used for the contrast of Rukia and Kaien in the front. Before this the saturation really was low.
Actually, you're right. And I remember that this was the ugliest part of it. I couldn't find a way to erase the borderline without erasing some parts of Rukia and Kaien - however I WANTED to show these two as a close-up.
So you're not right... you're DAMN right!

I also have this kind of problem with those close-ups, but there are a few tricks about it, which work in MOST cases. In this one it is fifficult, but I have three possible variations which would probably work here. I'd have to try it, but without the screenshots I can't.

-> This was what I wanted to tell you at first but I searched a bit on my HD and I found a nice folder with the capture "fonts". I looked through and finally I found it: The font I used is called "Carpenter".
