Ground Sloths are my favorite group of the Cenozoic, Fuck sabre-cats because this is where the cool kids are. Based her around Megatherium, which was one of the largest land mammals ever to exist. Some paleontologists think these guys weren’t just plant eaters, sometimes these rad dudes were ballsy enough to scavenge Sabre-cat kills and use their strong arms to flip over Glyptodon (a Volkswagen sized spike-tailed relative of the armadillo) in order to hunt or scavenge their carcases. But some scientists think that’s probably not true.
