YOU'LL PAY DEARLY AFTER I FEED OF YOUR DARKNESS OF YOUR SOULS!"These were Shades' ( Dark soul half of my OC ) words of speech after RWBY has slain his clanmates, even friends, for the purpose of him and his clanmates for killing innocent people, who are carriers of the abysses energy inside of their soul.
The Dark soul fragments are part of every human beings soul. The Dark Souls was created by the furtive pygmy, who was the last lord to gather fragment of the first flames power also easily forgotten. With this power, he created the Dark Soul, a legendary Lord soul that takes properties of Dark spells and Occult weaponry to battle against the other lords and Gods. These Weapons were very effective for the Abyss purge, long ago before Kai was born. Unfortunately, the Gods sealed the weapons into the painted word, a place where beings and items are banished for the safety of the world. But the Purge didn't stop there. The pygmy absorbed the Soul and Became the Father of the Abyss, also named Manus.
Now you may be asking, where do Kai and Shade fit into this? Before facing Kai's final battle against Gwyn. He journeyed backed to every place in Lordran, just in case if he forgot about something. When he arrived at DarkRoot Basin, he felt a strange dark energy through the woods. He went to investigate the source. Within 1 hour of searching, he found a black orb where he fought a Golden Golem. from there, Manus' arm appeared and dragged the poor undead in. *fast Forward to the Manus boss fight* Kai and Sith, the great grey wolf, were having a tough time of fighting Manus. So as a last resort, Kai used Power Within, a pyromancy spell that increased all stats but drains the user's health till death or aura usage is drained completely. HE and Sith charged at Manus and try to get some damage in. Unfortunately, Manus Grabbed Kai and sucked his energy so he can make Kai die faster. The only thing he can do is use the darksign to teleport himself back to the bonfire. But things took a different direction. With Manus draining Kai's power, in the combination of the Darksign being activated. Kai soul has split in Two, one light and one dark. With that, the birth of Shade is born. Before he could say anything, he teleported out of the battlefield so he couldn't interfere.
After the Abyss event and the World of Lordran saga. Shade became the leader of a clan know as the Abyss watchers. The clan was divided into separate graduates of the world of Remnant. From now on, his job is to stop the Abyss from spreading to the new found world he's in. But, the tragedy starts here. with him and he's teams 37 campaign of slaughtering the people of the holders of dark energy. Ozpin has assigned team RWBY to search and destroy the source of the murders. With that, the team founded the clan of the souths base. Before they could challenge the clan, they've faced through hordes of Grimm and unusually dark beings created by Shade, they waved through everything that stands in their way. eventually, they arrived the fog wall that was awaited the abyss watchers. Ounce they've entered, they have seen two Abyss watchers practicing for their next mission. and you can guess what happened next.
