Considering how wicked popular my OC was I decided to make Auburn in her combat outfit, her weapon is a arm gauntlet with a small caliber gun that fires when she punches her victims, so a close ranged fighter. Enjoy

Sergey(Me): So, before I'm gonna say anything. I want to everybody know that I like Auburn as a charachetr and the meaning behind her (Appearance, name and etc) even though I don't know much about this character made by hearts-and-pins . I respect author's work and I want to all the people who read this text know, just because I don't like something doesn't make me a bad guy.(I hope at least.) I have no problems with how the things are right now.
With that being said, back to the point of this comment. So as usual when I saw some OC being made I start to looking at their names and meaning behind them, so I can understand thei character more. So "Auburn" first name is a little trouble for me, since I wasn't able to find a clear explanation on what does this name ACTUALLY mean, but what i did find is that name Auburn was used for both Girls and Boys as the designation "redheads", or "brunettes". But her hair is gray, not "black" or "brown"... still does this mean Auburn is brunette? Another my guess is that since the name has a "Burn" element in the name it can reference Auburn's hot head personality? I guess?
Not her Last name, now this one was pretty simple since I didn't find much. Long story short "Perrault" is a longer version of the first name "Peter", which of the Greek language where is came from means "Stone" symbolize the main color theme of Auburn character "Gray" color. Now, I'm going to skip her weapon choise since....Come on guys, it's "Beagle" and she is wolf faunus. :/
Now finally to the what I want to say! I always like unique first/last names, it's add a specialty to the character and passion from its creator. I'm not going to make the comment even longer than what it's right now, but I can assure you there is a lot of characters with the unique names! So even if I'm fine with name "Auburn" seeing how such a rare Last name like Perrault is used with a generic name like Auburn make me uncomfortable. I for the last 2 minutes I was thinking about better name for Ms.Perrault, and I think I got one: "Yulva Perault".(For thoes of you who gonna ask "Where is 'r' in Perrault's last name?", I answer that I prefer it this way. There is just something uncomfortable I find about double characters in names.)
"Yulva" as you might figure out is not a real name, it's name made from a another real name. Let me explain, in the world there is name "Ylva" used in the countries like Swedish, and Norwegian. Ylva means "she-wolf", a derivative of Old Norse úlfr "wolf". So doing a little bit of fusion, we use name "Ylva" and using character "ú" from "úlfr" we are got "Yulva"! So in conclusion, by my personal performance and tastes i would like if Auburn's first name was a little more meaningful than a simple simple name like Auburn. But what's done is done, and I'm not going to push Author to change that, just to satisfy my little desire.

First off, Perrault is the last name of Charles Perrault, the author of Little Red Riding Hood which auburn is based off of. the name auburn was chosen because the original theme for the team was going to be red. and something you seem to forget is that in RWBY is that all characters' names need to be associated with a color.

Ya, it references her inspiration, the big bad wolf, which is also apparent as she is clearly a grey wolf breed or something similar. The name Auburn references the Red in her color scheme.

Auburn was created before the two only trait was placed. I made her right after Velvet Scarlatina was introduced into the series and since I've gotten a lot of people in the community loving Auburn I never changed her design.

The voice would be just about perfect, but I don't think auburn is an anti hero, from what I have heard from our conversations about our OCs she's atleast chaotic good if your looking for a badass that somewhat does what she wants. My character Reeno is more of an antihero since his a huge Faunus advocate and absolutely hates humans.
