It was pretty simple, actually, but it took a while. Using the lasso tool, I selected all of the drawing that I wanted in the photograph, cut it out of the scanned in image, and pasted it onto a photo. I then colored it, and it was done

I like the expanse of the dress and the pretty face. From the other you've added more details also - the ribbon bow at her bosom and flowers in her hair. Lovely image. Since I am such an MA enthousiast I hope you give yourself more presents - perhaps celebrate your birthday 4 times a year or give yourself a present on different holidays. Love to see you do your own renditions of famous Marie Antoinette paintings and cartoons

Marie Antoinette always pops into my head when I want to draw something pretty, so she shows up in random sketches and such quite a bit. One day I might post them when I'm not nearly as lazy.

Actually- I was just looking through the bucket options on the gimp, and saw this marble. I thought it looked very uber pretty, so I gave it a low opancy and just filled in the background.
