Story

The mis of the morning crept in through the trees as the sun started to rise, only showing a faint glow from afar as Anne and Mia were walking the two year olds up to the halter arena.

This was their first show, the first of hopefully many but that was yet to be determined.

Fiona who Mia was handling had a eventing pedigree and showed a sturdy but approachable character, where as Levi had a mix of eventing and dressage pedigree, this was easy to spot by the way he moved, It had made Anne exited when she first saw him move like his dam, her champion dressage mare Khaleesi.

As they had entered the arena along with many other competitiors some of the horses started to react to the atmosphere, but Fiona was standing like a statue, even if she was trying to lick Mia, and for Levi he was exited but well behaived, being one of the most vocal horses in the arena.

entering these two year olds into the futurity wasn't just about the show but about Anne proving that the breeding side of Calypso Stables was paying off and that they really could produce champions, but only time could tell if making the investment to expand into the breeding side of horses was going to pay off for her...
