*~*~*~*ZUTARA WEEK 2009*~*~*~*

Day 2 = Blood

This one's working two ways: the children are BLOOD relatives and combined BLOODlines of all things Zutara and are thus good (even if overly shiney). but also if you look close enough you can see the kids gave Daddy quite a run for his money while Mama was out at the market/Toph's baby Shower/a girls day out with one friend or another. (Read: There was blood. And unnaturally lost teeth. And a pair of skinned knees. And an incident with a porcupine-cat and rogue turtleduck. And the discovery of a toddler aged Princess's firebending.)

So yes these are my Zutara Spawn. You met their backs last year on the mythology piece, but here's an introduction.:

The boy in blue- Ryo: somewhere between six and eight years old, not sure whether or not he's a bender (it keeps changing in my head) but if he is, he's a waterbender of not much note. When Katara left earlier that morning he had all of his teeth...

The girl in pink- Ursa: somewhere between two and four, she is a waterbender, which is Ironic because she was named for her FIREnation paternal grandmother. When Katara left that morning her hair loopy strands were cut evenly...

The girl in blue- Kaya: Ursa's twin, somewhere between two and four, discovered her firebending this same morning and is showing signs of prodigial power-and the control of a toddler. Had a run in with a porcupine-cat and an angry Turtleduck and also cut her sister's hair while her mother was away.

The boy in red- Crown Prince Lu Ten: somewhere around ten, he's a firebender, though he wasn't expecting his little sister to literally spit fire at him and was unable to deflect the blast and thus has a bandage covering a nasty burn on his hand (jury's out on whether it will scar).

For the record, that would be the last time Katara leaves Zuko with the kids until at least Kaya is more housebroken and civilized.

I don't own Zutara week, or anything to do with Avatar. However Lu Ten, Ryo, Ursa, and Kaya are mine by adoption and default.
