This sat in my Sai for way too long begging to be finished. Been chipping away at it for several days and just tonight mustered up the motivation to finish it because I was SO close.My lab ray pet again -- this time enjoying a nice mug of steaming hot cocoa. She'll be entered with this in the Beauty Contest, whenever Neopets feels like putting her in the correct category ..

Hi! This is Naru... I was going to neomail you but I saw this while I was submitting to groups, and I just thought I'd let you know that entering a pet before their goldban is up is against the rules:
If my Neopet has been goldbanned, can I morph/lab it into another species and enter again before the 17 week gold ban is over?
No. This would be against the spirit of the rules of why the gold ban is in place, which is to give more people an opportunity to enter and win. Please wait the full 17 weeks, regardless of what species your Neopet is, before entering again.
So if you get removed, you will know why.

Oh gosh. I Googled this as research awhile ago and I was under the impression that species changed due to lab rays was fine because it was random. There was a Neopian Times article where the writer talks about Lab Ray changing species in regards to the BC: www.neopets.com/ntimes/index.p… . I assumed, since it was published, that this was an acceptable practice.
