God morgon! That's "Good morning!" in Norse.
Many thanks to everyone who offered name suggestions for this character/look. I was especially taken with Timothy Munroe's suggestion of the Norse Goddess Eir (pronounced "eye-ir"). I hadn't heard of Eir before, so I visited Google. According to the internet Eir is a goddess and/or valkyrie associated with healing. Legend has it she is the entity who decides which warriors that fall in battle will recover to continue their lives on earth, and which will go on to Valhalla.
I enjoy creating costumes inspired by Goddesses! I usually do one every year....so even though I didn't plan to cosplay as the Goddess Eir I do like the concept, and have decided to run with it.
