Description
One of the many subtle design decisions I love in the 'Lord of the Rings' movies is the association of the elves with autumn colors to reflect that it is the “autumn” of the elves. That is, their culture is fading, and the elves' time on Middle Earth is nearing it's end. Rivendell in particular is all autumn and sunset hues.
