This did not mean others couldn't acquaint with her, but they often talked ill of her behind her back.
She remained ignorant of their comments, but instead fell prey to the greater danger,
The fear of herself.

Her insides tangled up in knots when she looked at others, and what they had accomplished.
She winced thinking about the mistakes she had made in her dealings with others, what they had disliked.
And above all, she felt her shoulders sinking inward whenever her mind fought against itself,
The beautiful failure.
