Number 13 is unlucky for some, this was totally the case with this edit. I was finding it really tough to find someone who could do a good Strange. A lot of people thought Tom Hardy when he was announced but that changed, some even think Robin Williams, which i still cant really see. I thought of intelligent, sense of smugness, bald actors... and Patrick Stewart came to mind. Now I dont mean that as an insult when i say smugness, i mean it that Stewart can easily portray that 'I know everything" character that just annoys and charms you.

my thoughts of strange in Nolanverse would be an psychological genius at arkham who uncovers the true identity of batman. using this knowledge he has from studying the bat, he becomes one of the 'copycats' seen in Dark Knight, but when he gets caught by the real bat he tries to use blackmail which obviously doesnt work. This doesn't upset him as hes taken away but he becomes obsessed with the idea of being idolised by people the way batman has. so he orchestrates crimes himself just so he can appear to be the saviour. Being seen positively by the media, the plot turns to everyone wanting Strange to take the place of Batman. So Batman must reverse the tables and find out everything about Strange so he can reveal him as a sham.
