I was watching the Batman animated series, from 2004-2008, and theres an episode i really liked called 'The Breakout' where batgirl and robin have to try and maintain black mask in prison whilst batman's trying to find a bomb etc

i know batgirl and robin aren't in the Dark Knight films, but if they were I would like to see that kinda story line.... but maybe more them trying to prove themselves by taking on a organised crime gang in order to get batman's attention

I have backgrounds for my ideas of the characters in my dark knight rises series so check them out

long story short robin is a youthful teen who trains in martial arts and sees batman as an idol, puts on an outfit and (for budgeting reasons) puts on camo paint around his eyes instead of a full on mask.... he's not the smartest guy
batgirl... being the commissioners daughter, knows her dads close to the knight and she wants to help out being a gymnast and all, so she gets her hands on a batmask from a dead joker victim out of evidence, cuts out the eyes and fashions heself a mask.. she goes out aswell to patrol the area
there is a gang hideout downtown gotham, both robin and batgirl arrive and are confused who the other person is... they kick a few buts, but when an entire field of gang members arrive they team up and fight together

and i know people don't like shia lebouf as robin coz he's 'too old' but i would hate someone too young in nolanverse as it wouldnt make sense
