Thank you! I love history, and the only one in my grade who does ( secret: I'm in 5th grade, yes, I know I am too young for DA), and all we get to is the Civil War, which is interesting,but I'd rather be doing WWI, WWII, the Cold War, or Vietnam. But, luckily, my bro is REALLY into history, even more so than me. So, I learn all my history from him

Reminds me back when I was in the fifth grade, I took one of the upper level history books and began to skim through it and look at all the events that had happened.
and part of me was like "Why aren't they teaching this yet?" (That's what got me to learn my knowledge of WWI and WWII (The latter is a favorite.)

I love it! My school's weird, and freshmen dont have a history class, so French class is the only place where we talk any history, and whenever the teacher asks a question, im always the only one that knows the answer (or at least raises her hand)

hmmm thats odd, well not really lol ur dA says your from the US, i'm from Canada so my learning cycle and curriculum is probably different from yours xD cause in highschool every grade.10 is forced to take a history course(which covers ww1-cold war) and in my french class never touched in history unless it you took History in French, and even then, thats a grade 11/12 course.

haha it actually doesnt have much to do with the US school system in my case; i go to a private school. Therefore, some of the classes (and the years we take them) are different from public. And my french teacher always gets off topic, so some days we go from verb conjugations to the french revolution
