I did these FOREVER ago, but, I'm just now getting around to posting them.I would write out a long, elaborate story on how these rangers change in my reimagining, but, well, other than 2 replacements (no more Scott and Summer, they're replaced by two new characters, Neil Cooper and Alice West), the premise of my reimagined RPM is the same as the series. Of course, the way it plays out is going to be slightly different since Mop-head and Mary Sue are no longer there.

Um, Scott and Summer are two of the best characters in the history of the franchise. I take offense to them being called "mop head" and "Mary Sue".Β
I guess I can kind of see Summer as a bit Mary Sue-ish, but she does develop and change. Sure, she's good at a lot of stuff, but she does have to stand up to her parents as we see in Ranger Yellow. She also isn't all-powerful, and even though she doesn't have a ton of notable flaws, she DOESN'T win battles effortlessly. Therefore I don't really see her as a Mary Sue. Also, she's a really interesting character so yeah, I don't see it.

you know what? I'd ditch the Dillon and Tenaya story cuz they're IMO a lazy rehash of Andros and Astronema/KaroneΒ

My reimagining of RPM would be slightly more light hearted than he original. And my cast would beΒ
Red - Blake Jackson
Blue - Bennett "Ben" Jackson
Yellow - Jennifer "Jenni" Jackson
Gold - Nick Miller
Silver - Tiffany "Tiff" Barnes
Green and Black I'm not so sure about

lol cool but I would make green a girl and and same black tires but she would be Tenaya and Dillon would still be black with black tires so they could be like gouriger as in a siblng "team" (but it would be better if the tires were gold so they could be a "team")

You know in my reinagining i had Tenaya actually get the green morpher, which just changes the entire dynamic even with Scott and Summer there cause you know Venjix now has his own freaking Power Ranger to mess with and no secondary zord...

I like the armor-like look to the suits. It really fits the "Chris Nolan's Power Rangers" theme.

Why don't you like Scott and Summer? I personally really like them. They had this interesting backstory. If someone should be replaced, it should be Gem and Gemma. They were childish, loud and obnoxious, though they acted as good means to have doctor K open up.

I don't like Scott because, for the most part, he was whiny and, honestly, he didn't really act too much like a leader, he just came off bossy. Plus, his hair is ridiculous. I'm not a big fan of Summer because of just how she was written. I could deal with rich girl turned action girl, but, to make her be AMAZINGLY PERFECT at EVERYTHING she does until the script called for otherwise (i.e. Dillion needed to save her)got old quick.
Now, why I love Gem and Gemma... well, at first, I didn't, but, I slowly began to think about something, how they acted. They're not right in the head. Those two are extremely effed up and were never allowed to grow out of a childlike state while in captivity, and, with years of being outside the dome, they kept and embraced it. Those two are not right in the head, and, well, I have a soft spot for mental characters. I think they add a nice little spice to things. That, and they do give Dr. K some of her softer non-Ziggy moments.

tbh the fact that within 3 episodes of RPM, I looked at the three Primary Color Rangers and said "why the hell did you go with these guys, K? Did Corinth run out of decent choices for your Ranger Series?" but the thing is, for blue and yellow, I was like "eh, you're wooden planks meant to be overshadowed by the Red anyway, like EVERY POWER RANGER RUN EVER" but then I realized that the Red was Mister Broccoli-hair...
I packed my bags and watched Go-Onger instead.
(but seriously, it's a bit relieving to find someone who hates Scott too... The Summer hate, I don't relate with, as to me she's just a wooden plank character put there along with Blue Ranger Down Under to make the stale-as-fart Red look better than a [This string of words is censored for everyone's safety.])
