Description Juno Kenkade lived the life of an American Princess, and had everything handed to her on a silver platter. Spoiled and rotten didn't even begin to describe her. Her world was flipped upsided down when she was 13 though when she discovered she wasn't an only child. Finding about her older brother Kerry sent her into a twister of a rage that lasted nearly a week. As time went on, Kerry kept to himself and him being in her home didn't really change anything, but the point of him existing irritated Juno. When her father suddenly died, she found out that she couldn't access her inheritance until she turned 26 without an approved signature, one of the people being the financially-sound Kerry Jr. Juno then called a "truce", and she began interacting with him on civil terms, to get him to sign off on releasing her money, but, that quickly changes whenever he refuses.

Luke Falke would of easily won "Most Likely to Never Do A Damn Thing With Their Life" if it was an actual category in his high school yearbook. A master in the fine arts of being a bump on a log, procrastination, slacking, mooching, playing Call of Duty, and lying his ass off to get what he wants, in the 3 years that have passed since graduating school, at casual glance, all it seems Luke has to show for it is a couch in his parent's basement, and a wicked-high gamerscore on X-Box Live. But, that's not how he sees it. He's just waiting. For what, he doesn't know, but, does know that he'll know it when he sees it. So, until then, he can't be arsed to do a damn thing.

Kenji Hikari, a kind-hearted yet strong willed person, was the closest thing to a friend Rei Kanzan ever had, though, that's not really saying that much. Kenji's mother was the secretary to Rei's father, and, both boys being the same age, their parents decided it was a good idea to keep the two young boys together. The two rarely saw eye-to-eye and at times couldn't stand one another, but they did share a respect to one another cause no matter what Rei did to him, Kenji never backed down. Over time, the two boys would even act somewhat friendly to one another and began growing close over the years, but, that was all ripped away when Kenji's mother came into his room at the Japanese Embassy one night and told her son to pack his bags without explanation. That same night, the two boarded a plane heading to London for the Japanese Embassy there. On the plane trip, she informed her son that Ambassador Kazan had decided to have her transfered to the UK. Kenji could sense that his mother was hiding something, though. Once in the UK, Kenji thought he would never see Rei again, not knowing that destiny would bring the two young men back together again one day.

Rei Kanzan is the son of the recently-apointed Japanese ambassador to the US, but has spent much of his life traveling between Japan and the United States due to his father's interest in the United States. Rei was educated by the finest tutors as well as was trained in martial arts, gymnastics, and fencing. Due to his rather privileged lifestyle growing up, Rei has developed quite the superiority complex. To people he find beneath him, he's often short, to the point, and rather condescending with, if he even speaks with them at all. Rei finds friends pointless, and, above all else, he detests having to rely on others with a fiery passion.

Sarah Nobel is a young woman who's past she keeps shrouded in mystery. To the world around her, it is as if she never existed until the moment she crossed paths with Kenji in the streets of London nearly one year ago. She feels herself drawn to the young man, despite her reservations she has concerning the thing she keeps secret from him. Due to things, she seems rather shy, though, around Kenji, she drops her guard somewhat, yet, not ever enough to bring up her past.

Kerry Kenkade Jr was the first child born to multi-millionaire Kerry Kenkade Sr, though he did not live in the lap of luxury due to his parents divorce shortly after his birth and his mother refusing to take any of her ex-husband's money, despite being near-poverty at times. When a freak car accident took his mother's life when he was 16, Kerry moved back in with his father, step-mother, and half-sister, but he kept himself grounded and didn't let the sudden extravagant lifestyle around him corrupt him. He personally never had an issue with his half-sister, but the young girl seemed to hate Kerry. He finished high school, earned a full scholarship to UCLA, and graduated 4 years later with full honors with a degree in english. Shortly after, his father died of a sudden heart-attack, and Kerry was left with a rather large trust fund, that he barely touched. He spends his days sitting at the deck of his inherited beach house, writing day in and day out.

Ayasha Black, named after he Great Grandmother, was born and raised in Montana on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. As a young girl, she grew to love the outdoors, and spent all the time she could, often neglecting things, especially her schoolwork, which would come back to haunt her later. She is a very physical and hands-on kind of girl who's not afraid to get covered in mud or run head-on into a fist-fight. Thinking ahead is a foreign concept to her, as are feminine traits. Ayasha has been told she is destined for greatness by her Grandmother, and while Ayasha is kind to the aging old woman to her face, she can't help but roll her eyes in her mind, cause she's just a girl who's only skills are throwing livestock around like they're pillows. What could she be destined for that's great?
