Description Ultra Fractal 5.04

A tweak of *LeXXe 's fractal Hollow .

His parameters are a real pearl! I learnt so much from them, and I have now decided I'll try developing a technique to make space fractals with UF. Hoping it comes out well

This is my entry for #DigitalArtNetwork 's At the End of Time contest . This is how I imagine the distant future to be: the extinction of the Sun will provoke a solar shower (represented by the warm-coloured zones) which will spread a huge amount of heat in certain zones of the universe, leaving the others much colder (those in blue); after thermal equilibrium (green parts) the universe will slowly collapse on itself, creating a new Big Bang (thus going back to the orange/yellow colouring of my fractal) and give birth to a whole new world. Who knows how this world will be? The mystery alone is fascinating.

Hmmmm.. A conceptual fractal works always makes me want to critique it. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/> Well, we can say that this piece is a conceptual work by reading the artist's comment. She said that this is her interpretation of the end of time. I can say that she had a great imagination and skill to present her imagination. She plays with colors to present her imagination. That means she had a good knowledge of the meaning of colors. That's her positive point as an artist, to be able to know what's the meanings of colors. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

What I think that could be improved on this piece is the white spark/bubbble part. I think some texture can be added to that part of the image, so that it looks like some planets. Or, maybe she can make a shiny-like shape (using orbit trap) so that it looks like a star that shining.

Overall, I love this image. This piece has a really good concept and *heavenriver can present her concept nicely e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

Thank you very much, I loved this Critique!
I'm currently working on the "planet"'s texture so that I can make better ones. Good thing that you pointed that out. Thanks again!

the flat white dots against the photo-real nebulas are a really interesting effect!

The Critique I received said the opposite - that's so odd. But I'm glad to receive different feedbacks! I'm working on the dots to make them look brighter (so more like stars) and more refined and textured (to make planets). Hoping I'll get to do that soon!

I'm not sure why it appeals so much to me; but I'd venture to guess it's that I think of many people on our planet as flatlanders with two-dimensional views of reality, oblivious to the infinite possibilities and dimensions of existence beyond their small world.

Yup. Not looking any farther than one's nose makes one miss many beauties of life.

Young lady, if I wasn't in a house on rent I'd be buying a print of this in this very second and hanging it on the wall. Sucks that I can't put holes in the wall 8|

STILL this thing is amazing. Oh man the colors.
