On the weekend, I went to the TAFE training facilities at Jandakot Airport, which is where I plan to go after I leave school, because they offer a diploma in aviation They also offer aircraft maintenance courses, and we toured their facilities. They have quite a few old aircraft for the aircraft maintenance students to practice in, one of them being this Boeing 737-200. I’m sitting in the cockpit, with another cadet. When I stepped into the cockpit, I couldn’t believe how old it was. The airframe is at least 50 years old, needless to say I was quite at home!
