Immortality DayOnce a year, for about 35-40 days in the world of Teari, snow falls all over the mainland. It snows for several hours. Even the deserted Scorch Shore is covered with a thin layer of snow. The life of the world freezes these days: animals hibernate, winter animals from the Frost Mountains descend from the peaks and walk freely, the trees stop blooming and also fall asleep. There is silence in the crunching forest. There is silence in the Whispering Forest. This is the coldest time of the year.Cydamai dress warmer, often stay at home by the fireplace. Or, on the contrary, they open portals to warm worlds.On the longest night of the year, which happens precisely in the snowy month, and the day before it, Cydamai celebrate the Immortality Day.On this holiday Cydamai light a lot of lights: big bonfires in city squares, fireplaces and just candles. Houses are decorated with tree branches - symbols of life: even after the snowy month, the trees will continue their cycle again. On the day before the long night Cydamai go to visit each other and give gifts, and in the evening they dine with their family or loved ones.The traditional colors of the holiday are shades of red, orange, gold and dark green. They represent warmth and eternal trees. On week of Day of Thanks, from the windows of the upper floor of the Library, a galaxy is clearly visible, which these days passes too close to the border between dimensions. This is an unforgettable sight!On this holiday, Eyes of Ether get together, decorate the top floor of the Library with flowers and give thanks to the Fountain that gave them life.Traditionally, they celebrate this event in their natural "birth" forms to decorate a fountain room, showcase their unique talents and socialize.Over the past few centuries, give thanks to each other, as well as to dear persons from the Worlds, has been added to traditions. Eyes give to each other gifts made with their own hands or from their Worlds. Flowers from EoE's Worlds are used as an offering to the Fountain.It is customary to celebrate this holiday together. All Eyes of Ether put their business aside and return to their native Library.
