I haven't taken it to the range in eons. I was zeroing in the scope at 300 yards. (since... 900 feet is pretty damn good for such an old rifle)

Now this one is way cool looking. And I like how there is no front sight. So you can use the scope I think a lot better. What brand of scope is it anyway?

The markings rubbed off eons ago. It's a vintage scope

Very nice! I have a sporterized No. 1 Mk. III very similar to this, and it's one of my favorite bolt rifles. How is it with the scope?

I have not gone to the range to zero it in yet

Oohh very nice! I need to get a WW1 variety of one of these for my Brit sword bayonet.
Of course this can only be accomplished... ehhh sometime other than now.

I heard Enfields are insanely accurate though.

The old guns madeΒ with wood are much more elegant--works of craftsmanship.

TheAtomicDog In reply to HectorEDefendi [2015-04-26 15:06:11 +0000 UTC]

Huh.
I have app. that many 1/18 scale model cars...
And like you, I'd have to go and count them again to many sure.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HectorEDefendi In reply to TheAtomicDog [2015-04-26 20:41:09 +0000 UTC]

Soo... what's with the "Huh"? lol

Oh, I build 1/25 scale cars. Cool. I have not built any in a long time, but yeah

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TheAtomicDog In reply to HectorEDefendi [2015-04-26 23:16:17 +0000 UTC]

"Huh"
A gentle exclamationΒ of awareness or recognition. Interchangeable with "Oh", "Ah" and other associated vocalizations.

And I totally suck at building models. So I buy them already assembled and ready to play with.
