Biography
Following a brush with the law, Simon Williams was recruited by the Masters of Evil and agreed to be the test subject for Baron Zemo's ionic ray treatment. The process gave him superhuman abilities, but he eventually succumbed to its side effects. Since returning from the dead in ionic form, he has turned to good and joined the Avengers as "Wonder Man".
