It was a foggy morning and Tanya had taken on morning feed duty. She opened the gate leading to the fields the horses spent their nights in. She checked the horses' names of her feeding checklist as they ran into their open stalls. She then noticed that Jokers Masquerade did not come, so she whistled for her. There was no responce, so she groggily grabbed Jokers's halter & lead rope and ran to her favorite larkspur covered field.

As she pushed past the pine branches and intop the clearing, she noticed Joker just stumbling onto her feet, apparently exhausted. Curious, she walked over to inspect the area she was just in. To her surprise, the normally calm mare lunged at her and tried to bite her forearm. Shocked, she slipped the halter on and calmed down the hostile mare. As she turned around, she saw a small head poke up from the tall grass. When she went to inspect, she saw a small Harlequine filly, that was only minutes old, ease itself off the cold, dew covered ground. It staggered to it's hooves and fell. She giggled as it regained balance and shakily stood up again. It nursed off of Joker, and when it had finally drank it's fill, She followed her mother back to the barn.
