Description I almost finished this before my tablet quit on me and I swore I wouldn't upload it until it was working again, so now that it is, here you have my little crossover.

Assassin's Creed II enthusiasts may recognize that little model Leo's holding from the game.

Yes, Ezio and Leo went out to buy it and as they stood by the vendor, two boys came by, one dark and Venetian by the looks of it and the other paler, with fiery, auburn curls.
As the boys passed, both loaded with painting-tools, scrolls and books, the auburn-haired youth turned and smiled at the two men. Leonardo stiffened and promptly blushed at the beauty and seductive glance and as Ezio turned to him, demanding whether he knew the boy, Leonardo denied it and the boy's companion tugged on his arm and urged him on.

I find it to be a good crossover, myself

Leonardo da Vinci and Ezio belong to Ubisoft and History, Amadeo (and Riccardo as it is) belongs to Anne Rice

Haha, true Have you played the game? Leonardo's real-life assistant/adopted-son/muse, Salai, is depicted there as a less attractive version of Amadeo, not that I think the character-developers thought like that, but the pictures of Salai that Leonardo made very much remind me of Amadeo and in-game he very much has that air too

No i haven't, yet I'm planning to do so, just to stare mindlessly at Venice xD
well, when I saw Salai's portraits fot the first time I was like 'omfg, Amadeo, you slut, you seduced Leonardo too?' xDD but Amadeo isn't created out of thin air, is he? Part of what makes him so appealing is the fact that he is so well placed in his seroundings.

oh yes, the game is perfect for that The storyline is pretty good too though.
haha oh I would not put it past him to do that at all!
It's true, if there is something Anne Rice is good at it's contextualizing things and creating a physical environment for her characters to move in and develop from.

I haven't really obsessed over the first game like I do with the second, but AltaΓ―r is cool and it's a good way to get acquainted with Desmond and Lucy

Thank youuu Leo does nothing but long, the poor sweetheart! and Ezio is known in my mind now for not understanding, even when Leo all but tell him what is going on! (they made the two of them talk openly about it in the novel, not likely, but still sweet - Ezio's all: "well we don't condem homosexuals here in Firenze" and Leo's like "O.< - not so loud!"
