Remember this? (I think I got quite a lot better since then... do you?)My granny and I share a passion for orchids, so we bought her one for her birthday this year: (bad lighting, sorry, but you get the picture...)
I decided simply buying it wasn't enough, so i got up at 'round five in the morning and started to draw, I used the real one as reference. Duh.
And 'cause some of you like to see WIP's, here's one
Tell me if I got it wrong and I should scrap it. I will, probably, some time later.
Used: Mondeluz aquarelle pencils and the audiobook of Terry Pratchett's discworld novel 'Soul music'.
P.S.: this had a real signature, but i didn't manage to get a photo of that...

I particularly think video games get hit with realism too hard as of late, and it sacrifices gameplay and fun for such. That, and the stories I write aren't one for realistic, but even then, I do have lines that I won't cross.

Oh, okay, yah, I understand that. Some of the new games with jaw-droppingly awesome graphics are more like an interactive movie.
