A courtyard in the fushimi Inari shrine complex, Kyoto, Japan.One of my favourite places in Japan.

Brilliant two-point perspective. It really feels like everything is arching up toward a high center sky. Amazing shrine - my friend and I went through it one night several years back, ticked that off my bucket list. The greyed colours make it feel a bit haunted.

Pretty hard to miss really, just follow the torii trail and its the second stop. It's just below that lake.

yeah the shrine complex is spread out over a mountain, to see it all and walk along every track, you'd need about 4 hours if you walk quickly.
