First thought -"HUMAN SUBJECT, after a long time"...
... as I was browsing through my own memory, I remembered that the last time you had a human subject was of a bride and a groom (hey, I AM right, except if you don't count your deviantID) called "Spotlight on Love" [link] ... and I must say, this time around, you've brought a finer AND better picture...
I like this picture for multiple number of 'factors'... first of all, the title of the picture is well put, the central region of the picture and the highlighted 'copper' tone of the picture IS the right ear-piece of the headphone and hence totally justifies the picture...
... the simplicity of the picture is another interesting thing... this might be a flattery to your sister, but the eyes are so piercing, so vocal and so expressive that if this picture was in a huge frame on the wall, viewers would be totally 'mystified' by her eyes...
... also, Kudos to your sister... no expression on her face, and yet feels like she's so much to say, as if the headphones are projecting the inner voices in her head... (LOL, I'm being too creative)...
... and finally, a request to you Sven - please do bring in more human subjects!

Working with people in photography is a little unnatural for me, I tend to like to have complete control on what is happening in my photographs. Althought my sister is a lovely model and will do anything I ask, it still isn't what I really enjoy doing in photography, which is what I don't do it much.
That isnt to say that I don't like it whan I develop a nice image, its just that to me, the level of quality between my other stuff and portraiture is too different.
But gld you like it, and Im sure there will be more about in the future, but yeah
