I've wanted to do a serious Blake picture for a while now...lately the only thing I've done with her is stupid memes and a pin-up picture OTL Not to mention the comic I'm still trying to get done XD
Anyway, I originally sketched this for a different song that I had a couple of ideas for, then I somehow remembered the one I put up there instead ^ and thought it fit a lot better.
Overall, I'm really pleased with this >w< I know the clouds look terrible, just try to ignore them. I almost left them out completely, but the sky was just too empty. Needed moar dark u.u
I might ask for a critique on this one day...but for now...I'm too proud of it XD;;

Should've gone with cirrus clouds, easier to draw and would've fit the theme better.

Did you know that Sonne as actually about a boxer knocking someone's ass out? Never would've guessed it, when I first found out the lyrics. But anyway. Unrelated factoid.
The lighting is quite nice, the orange highlighting does a good job of creating that hazy dusk feeling. The little indistinct structures and settlements around the landscape do a good job of adding life and a sense of distance to the landscape. However, this place looks ARID. If by design, good job. As for the clouds, they're looking pretty good, though you might wanna change up the size/shape a little. Really, despite what some say, you can get away with nearly any indistinct shape as a cloud. A funny thing my brother once said about clouds, "if your clouds don't look like kinda like shit, you're not doing it right. Real clouds always look like shit. Like faces and skulls."

I'll teach you how to draw clouds. I can draw a cloud in there for you and then you can try and.... i dunno... re-create it? But this is pretty fucking great!~ I love the small detail on her, and just overall concept is pretty great and you pulled it off top notch :3 Those two derpy clouds far away really add to the depth of the picture XD <3 it's great. Moar art plz.
