This is an absolutely stunning piece Your work, although I have not commented often on it, I have followed very quietly and I must say it has influenced me quite a lot.
This piece is moody and dark, I love the lonely look of the landscape, the two figures in the corner seemingly embarking on a desperate path of solitude.
The tones are enchanting, the dark blue suits this piece extremely well and I enjoy the panorama proportions of the image - it makes it even more unique and seperates it from other photographs here.
Striking work

My god this is powerfull .. feels like the end of the world with the oncoming of a terrible storm and the three (the two in the shot and you the photographer) are able to battle to survive nature.
Yet there you all stand admiring the savage and sureal beauty of it all.
Just amazing.

.

Ps. The lighting, composition and darness and duotone blue cold nature and the long long landscape layout .. perfection. Utter perfection

This shot suits the dark atmosphere more, certainly. The previous shot was nice because it was different - a shot of Iceland in romantic, pastel tones - but letrs face it, this is the kind of shot the landscape's best at producing, and you're not half bad at it yourself

Good composition with the darkened corners, and I love the swirl of the clouds :]
The people are perfectly placed to scale the picture and fill in the empty space as well, they help balance out the dark corner on the opposite side.

This is brilliant! The different areas of contrast throughout the whole piece really compliment each other and silouettes of the people really give a good idea of the scale of the whole scene ... The 'string' of clouds across the horizon is awesome too!! So many great elements!!! Well done!

The colour version is great too, but I much prefer the darker duotone piece... I like the dark.

I think I prefer the black and white version of the image. Great work very moody and lovely texture in the snow. Oh...and to continue a survey I am conducting, what camera do you use and do you save to RAW format?
