Hatsu makes his own weapons. Usually they are little bombs that are not very powerful, but if he's asked to he can also make extremely powerful and dangerous explosives, for certain missions.
When he's making harmless smoke bombs or tear gas bombs, he can doze off and screw up. So they don't always blow up.
He also makes defective bombs on purpose, just to scare people or mess around with them. But sometimes he mixes them up so he's just playing russian roulette most of the time.

Personality: lazy/ easygoing/ easily bored/ serious/ no sense of humor/

Hatsu is the kind of guy that hides in the most impossible places in order to slack off. He falls asleep easily, so sometimes you might find him sleeping in weird positions all over the place.
He doesn't really like socializing, so when people approach him, he tries to be an asshole to make them go away. He prefers spending his time in the weapons department, testing all sorts of bombs and explosive compounds. He prefers being alone because people always interrupt his work or his sleep.
Although he prefers to stay at their headquarters, when he has to go on a mission he takes things seriously. But he'll try to stay in and sleep if he can ditch it. He tries to sleep as much as possible and conserve energy.

Hatsu's childhood was full of such moments. He saw spirits at every step, but since no one else saw them or believed him, he tried to ignore them. He only told his mother. But she would always tell him to stop making things up.
One day he was playing outside, when he saw a weird spirit. He just stood there a couple of minutes and looked at it, trying to convince himself that it's not actually real. Meanwhile, a man in a black suits that was passing by, saw Hatsu looking at the spirit.
''-What are you looking at?''
''-... You won't believe me anyway.''
''-You might be surprised.''
Hatsu told the man about the weird things he saw and he really was surprised when the man believed him. The man promised to tell him more about it, so Hatsu followed him, happy that someone finally believed him. Hatsu was 6 years old at that time.
From that day on, he lived in an enclosed facility where they tested ''gifted'' kids like him. It was actually not a bad place. The workers there kind with the kids most of the time. They were just conducting simple experiments. But one day,the place was assaulted by the special forces. Hatsu managed to run away in the middle of the chaos. He ran as fast as he could, and the men that followed him lost his tracks in the forest. Lost in the depths of the forest, Hatsu spend a few days crying in fear. He struggled to survive, eating whatever he could. The silence of the forest scared him and kept him awake at night. If the silence was broken by the softest sound, he would jump in fear. Hatsu was 14 at that time.
After getting out of the forest and living on the streets of King's City for some years, he manned up. With no proper education and with no idea of what's right or wrong, he stole whatever he could find to help him live. He still had sleeping problems caused by the trauma he experienced in the forest.
When he was 16, Hatsu was taken off the streets by a tall and shady man and put to work at an illegal explosive factory. Hatsu accepted the situation since he got a place to sleep and food. His job was to clean the place and help carry materials. As years passed, the tall, shady man managed to teach him about bomb manufacturing. Surprisingly, Hatsu was a fast learner so he was put to work in no time, more work meaning less sleep. Two years passed and Hatsu was now 18.
But the past chased him, and the special forces that have been searching for him since he was little finally found him. They closed the factory, arrested everyone and took Hatsu to the underwater prison, considering he had a dangerous gift. This is when a member of NOCTIS came to help. ''-If I come with you... will you let me sleep?'' And since he was promised a comfortable bed, Hatsu accepted to join the mafia.
