Gonna count as a Valentines day pic since I miss every
other holiday and it gives me an excuse to play with color
palettes lol.
I really liked the sketch on this one and i'm especially
happy with how the colors came out, being in an art block
and all. c:

Great, beautiful and emotional piece, and I enjoy it a lot. Β Especially those tears of joy after her sister has finally come home after such a long time.
As many have mentioned, you were able to visualise 'Tias mane beautifully.
I feel the colour fade to blue is to symbolise the reuniting of the Two Sisters, and the mane symbolises their magic.
When they were reunited, Luna had lost all her power and only had a short and very pale coloured mane, while Celestia had her full power.
Maybe she is magically bestowing some of her own power to 'Lu which is why her mane looks purple and translucent against the night sky? We know this is not impossible.
Or maybe I am just reading too much into it...
Still, definitely one of my favourite pieces. The atmosphere is tangible.
