Brushing up on some vectoring since it's been awhile. I needed a new ID anyway and now I have her proper design finalized.
If I had to describe her personality, she's like a big dragon in a tiny body with her sassy attitude towards most things. That's not to say she's not friendly, if anything she's extremely forward when meeting new potential friends in general. Sometimes though she'll get ahead of herself when coming up with ideas for adventures that most would find extremely dangerous or crazy. She loves digging for gems and is known to share most of her gem finds as she's really interested in opals the most, her favorite gem stone, as they look the prettiest and taste the best.
I'll get around to making her a proper ref sheet one of these days.

I myself have submitted to it, and I promise the name is misleading. This a show where they review OC's on quality and give there insight how to make it better! It's fun to watch, and be exciting to part of. If I can find enough Dragon OC's they might be able to do an episode on dragons!

LOL Emee doesn't really fit in the MLP world, but I still love her to death.
But ah! Opal! Opal looks like she pops right out of the show! ;3; I love her color scheme, the angles and shapes to the character are so spot on!
I also love how she's obviously a young dragon, but just because she's young, doesn't mean that she has to be the same shape or size as Spike. She's BRILLIANT and I love her! ;u; ♥ Amazing design!

I really tried hard to imagine what a young female dragon might look like, we pretty much have no reference
to look at so I just winged it. And yeah from the few oc's i've seen, a lot just end up going with a spike recolor
and a few different kinds of head spikes or ears which is all well and good, but where's the fun in that? XD
Emee is SUPER CUTE also! I really like her design and if I ever get free time again soon i'd love to draw her,
she has the cutest darn face and colors! <3

You're right. I don't even think I saw any female dragons in any MLP episodes. So we have absolutely nothing to go off of. ;0; But luckily with all the different types of dragons that we did see, we can at least say that we get creative freedom! 
And AWW! We should TOTALLY do an art trade of our dragons! ;u; I would LOVE to draw Opal some time!
