EDIT: It seems I got a little lazy on his markings on a few shots. I'll try and fix those later haha.

Well it's been quite awhile hasn't it? I've felt more like a
ghost prowling around DA more then anything in the past
couple months as it were haha.

The truth is college takes up so much of my time and i'm
very tired at the end of the day, even on my weekends
what with homework and multiple projects always due in
the coming weeks. But I was able to put this together
which i'll be presenting in class this coming week.

This is for conceptual illustration where we had to come up
with a character and a story for said character along with
their environment as the second part of the assignment.

This is slog, a sloth man based on both a pale throated
three toed sloth and a megatherium (or ground sloth) from
prehistoric times. Sloths are incredibly awesome creatures
and i'm absolutely in love with drawing them right now so
this guy was really fun to make if not exhausting to get
done for class. He works as a royal guard for the cities army
but really hates his job and is a bit of narcoleptic from time
to time which also contributes to not doing his job very
well.

He's very sarcastic and loves dry humor but can also be
very dangerous despite his lax nature. Normally he's very
slow for his build but he has a built in biological feature that
can trigger a "rage mode" of sorts where he completely
ignores pain and fatigue and will attack mercilessly.
However it can only be triggered in extreme danger or life
threatening situations.

I'm still working on him and his background story, i'm not
very good at the later part but I try haha, and I might
update this later if I have anything else c: Also slog is a
term that is related to attacking mercilessly which I felt fit
his little rage quirk, that and I wanted something that
started with an S like sloth haha.
